Frank Dutton has been teaching at UC Davis Extension’s IEP since 2012, teaching in the CCP, EST, EGB, English and Nutrition/Environmental Studies, and IEP programs. Frank has a B.A. in English (with a specialization in American Literature and Culture) from University of California, Los Angeles; a TEFL Certificate from TEFL Worldwide Prague; and an M.A. in Linguistics from University of California, Davis. He has taught in a variety of places since 2005, including Sonoma County Schools, Sodexo Czech Republic, and Nestle Chile. He currently also teaches corporate English in the Sacramento area in addition to tutoring. His research interests include the bilingual experiences of migrant native-speaking English instructors. He speaks (and still continues to learn) Spanish and knows some Czech. In his free time, Frank enjoys walking, reading, writing, listening to music, and watching basketball. Frank's biggest passion is improving as a teacher, and he enjoys the challenge each and every class brings.
