Student Affairs Officer
I taught my first language course in 2008. Teaching is the most rewarding thing I've ever done, and I love teaching our international students in the Center for International Education, where I serve a dual role as faculty and staff.
In my role as manager of the CIE's International Language Center, I combine my loves of teaching and research to provide our diverse student body with the agile instruction that is needed in a technology-rich pedagogical environment.
I hold an MA in linguistic anthropology, an MA in French linguistics, and an MA in educational linguistics. I also have a TESOL Advanced Practitioner certification with a focus on CALL and California adult education credentials in English and French. I am a participating member of CALICO, AAAL, TESOL and IALLT.
